Engagement Scope – CMO

Situation: As a business restart, The Respect Network needed to close initial funding, establish a market position and define its product strategy.

Action: As interim CMO and a member of the management team, managed all marketing, product management, and business development activities including business plan development, online presence (web site, social, blogging), investment materials, product specifications, and SaaS agreements.

Results: Raised initial seed-round funding.  Concluded a successful exit for the company through merger.

Website

Developed the website used to support investment efforts.  Set the stage for client adoption. Included social media management as well.

Company Onesheet

Developed the one-page investor overview to facilitate potential investor outreach.

Business Model

Developed the app platform business model including customer segments and value propositions which became a component of the Respect Network Trust Framework.  Used in the deployment of the CynjaSpace application as the first production app on the platform.

Investment Presentation

Developed all iterations of the investment materials for the company.  involved in most investment presentations to early stage investors.

Video

A quick elevator pitch video created to introduce the Respect Network as a part of the Department of Homeland Security SBIR award we granted in 2016.  We proposed and were granted three separate efforts for DHS and DARPA as a means for funding of basic platform capabilities.

Product Prototyping

Developed the marketing requirements for three prototypes and an initial application for the company.  I developed the prototype screens and application flow, user stories, and managed the third-party delivery of the prototypes. The prototypes were demonstrated the app developer platform to various audiences and had limited distribution for investor purposes.
